Now you can benefit from this glorious setting for your own workation beachside retreat. This word, a blend of work and vacation, came into use as the recent trend for travelling and working has become more common. A handful of our regular guests enjoy a family holiday with the children, the workation room allowing parents to keep in touch with the office, have the odd zoom meeting during their stay and get on with work undisturbed and in uplifting surroundings.
The Covid Pandemic introduced us to a new ways of working and living. With the lockdowns many of us worked from home and we became accustomed to the convenience of Zoom and Teams meetings from our laptop.
Our workation room has a full width, fitted desk with fast BT WIFI, several power sockets a comfortable chair and a sofa bed. Most importantly it has a stunning beach view where you can watch the birds scooting around and passers by enjoy their daily dog walk. If this is too distracting you can lower the blind and concentrate on the work in hand.

If you are struggling to finish your book project or your final year thesis Pagham Beach House might be the perfect location for a writer’s retreat. Roal Dhal famously retreated to his shed for focus and creative inspiration.
