Entertaining the kids
This house to rent by the sea is very well equipped to keep the younger generation amused. In sunny weather there’s lots to discover and collect on the beach (shells, stones and flotsam). We have crabbing lines, buckets and nets in the garage - early morning and lots of bacon always brings the crustaceous friends out to play on the low tide rocks directly out from the house. In the colder months the drawers under the sofa have toys and games geared for toddlers, small people, teenagers and adults.
Bringing your dog
Dogs are very welcome at the house. We do ask that you keep your dog off the leather sofa and bed as they get scratched up with over-excited canine friends. Dogs can be walked off the lead on Pagham Beach all year round and there are several poo bins close by. We are happy to recommend a dog groomer should you need one.
No smoking
Sorry there is no smoking allowed in the house.
Local conveniences
There is a local Co-Op Food store in Pagham Parade which is only a five minute walk from the house. It is in a converted pub with a large car park at the front. This Co-Op has all you would need for a weekend away including freshly baked baguettes, rolls and croissants as well as a good stock of meats, fruit, veg, soft and alcoholic drink and dry food. It is open daily from 07.00 – 22.00. Pagham Parade also has a Jordans Pharmacy which is open 09.00 – 18.00 and closed on Sundays.
